WARWICK *CASTLE* - ENGLAND

Calling all knights, Princesses, Kings & Queens?!
Mediaevel England is bought back to life at Warwick Castle
but the history of the castle dates back to the 10th century.

Warwick Castle offers something for everyone, young or old.
This is a typical castle with a Great Hall, State rooms, Chapel, Ghost Tower and Dungeons!

Outside is a Victorian rose garden, conservatory and peacock garden.
Full programme of activities (KNIGHTS&PRICESSES ROYAL PARADE , THE RAISING OF THE PORTCULLIS, THE WARWICK'S TREBUCHET, FLIGHT OF THE EAGLES, JOUSTING RETURNS, WARWICK WARRIORS and SWORD IN THE STONE!). All these programmes are live shows demonstrating. Jousting, archery, falconry and combat as well as a huge reconstructed trebuchet that fired twice a day.

The curved visor was designed to deflect the blow of a lance to the face and the narrow slits would protect the eyes from flying splinters.

Weekend trip @ uk [ part I ]

MANCHESTER TRIP...

Location : Manchester United Football Club (MUFC stadium)

Time : 19th June 2010 - 9.30am to 5.45pm

Weather : 12'' Degree Celsius , strong wind (cool)!

The most popular football club on earth. Most people have heard something of the triumphs and tragedies both on and off the pitch at Old Trafford, do you really know about it?? (especially MU's fans) :)

THEREFORE, we paid and visited into THE MUSEUM..
A visit to the sacred trophy room lets us share in every timeless victory.

Every story of heroes -- Busby, Charlton, Law, Best, Ferguson, Cantona, Giggs, Ronaldo, Rooney...

BESIDES, an hour of stadium tour lead by Steward really excited and enjoyable..he explained, expressed, explored everything in the stadium..
with the Old Trafford tour we can see the stadium through the eyes of Manchester United Greats themselves. FROM the North Stand to Alex Ferguson's pitch, to the atmosphere-soaked player's dressing room, carry the roar of thousand and thousand fans in your ears...

The First Breath @ U.K..

FINALLY! a super long journey from Malaysia -> Dubai -> Manchester..it's take about 6 hours from Malaysia to Dubai and 7 hours from Dubai to Manchester..





12.06.2010 , 12.25pm @ Manchester airport...

''Good day sir!! Welcome to UK..''
The 1st greet from 1 of the staff of my university when we reached manchester airport. A big smile on her face..presentable looking..and we're welcomed.

Sunny day @ temperature 16 degree celcius..nice!!

After gathering all people, settled everything, we took about 1 and half hours from Manchester airport to Sheffield.

When we're on the way to Sheffield, I doesn't see much of high building, modern houses or high-tech 'thingy'..but..what's probably I saw was some barn, sheeps, ducks on the lake, high trees and so on..I like the view there..it gives me the feeling like 'The Lord of the Ring''..lol!

The bus dropped us to our hostel (currently Im staying Bramall Court)..environment was not too bad..rooms clean..sufficient facilities..nice officer management..nice senior..and of coz..the internet connection speed was really FAST!! :D

So basically now we got nth special to do besides preparing on living stuffs and settle down everything..it's really took some time to a newbie like me..aikz..!!

Anyway, here was a nice place! Im loving it~ :)

DELICIOUS of the day : Kuih-jagung!

Ingredients:
- 1 cup of Custard powder
- 1 cup of sugar
- 1 cup of fresh milk
- 1/2 can of corn kernel (cream style)
- A pinch of salt
- 2 cup of water




Kuih jagung ( Corn custard )
This 'kuih' appeared almost all the places in Malaysia indeed, especially in parties celebration.
I guessed major of Malaysian well known the taste of this kuih..
It is easy to be prepare/make i guessed..[definately hard to me!! haha]
However....
How to make an unforgettable ones? How to lure their 'thumbs up'?
Alot of effort and 'heart' needed..
IT IS NOT EASY INDEED! xD

The Real Orge: Shrek forever after!!

After challenging an evil dragon, rescuing a beautiful princess and saving your in-laws' kingdom, What's an orge to do?

Honestly this was the 1st shrek movie I watched and I will definately feel that Im going to be very boring when watching it. But in fact, I will never know this will be the most lovely animated film I've watched so far.

The interesting part begin with Shrek has grown tired of his life being a local celebrity and overwhelming family and friends, as well as he feels he isn't a 'REAL ORGE' anymore. Therefore, Shrek has duped into signing a pact with Rumpelstiltskin. When Shrek has realised himself is in twisted, he is trying to undo all he's done in the hopes of saving his friends, restoring his world and reclaiming his one true love.

By the way, Shrek's spirit on never giving up on the progress of saving his friends and restoring his world and of coz his love towards Fiona really impressed me. It is worth to watch ;)

PARADISE: Perhentian Island take II

Location -- Perhentian island (Watercolour Paradise Dive Resort)
Date -- 16th April - 20th April 2010
Buddies -- James Lai, Dexter Teh, Willie Cheng, Ryan Chang and KK Lim
(A simple word to describe them...... "CRAZY!!'')

''GEARED UP GUYS?!''
This is what we usually did when we're ready for a scuba diving!

Want to escape ur world for a bit? spend some time outside the four walls of our homes? This is how our tropical vacation journey started.....

About 40mins flight take us to the airport of Kota Bharu and 40mins again to our speedboat. Crazee gang with all sunglasses mode on..carrying gears and small luggage..walking like nobody business.

Relaxing the whole day..poker-ing around at the night on the 1st day..joke and fun seems obvious on our table...FINALLY! it's time for us to step in another new world that cannot simply to be described.

(B4 the 1st dive)

Wet suits on! Mask, snorkler, fins, weight belt as our basic one..
setting up equipment..selecting our BCD, regulator, tank and buddy checking on the equipment setted. WHAT's NEXT?! of cozzz..go into the speed boat..head to the islands..'Gaint strike' into the deep water..waiting for the signal for the deep dive!

It is about 1 and a half year to my 2nd dive vacation here. Without any doubt, the feeling of the 1st breath with the regulators under the water was incredible..abit of nervious..abit of panic on what's should i do the next..but when i 1st sense on a school of yellow-tail barracuda..all my nervious and panic gone! *It is really a big school of them! wOW!

Under the water..you definately will hear nothing except your own breathing and heartbeat..I feel definately freedom..like Im floating in space area. Lazyness way of moving..currents moved me around..guessing on dive master's hand signal..hahaha!

Islands that we 'visit' : 1) Batu Tapir 2) Lighthouse 3) Batu Layar 4) Tokong Laut 5) Batu Layar take II 6) Batu Nisan.
